YING C. LIU

i may not be there yet, but i'm closer than i was yesterday

About Me

Heeeeeeeellllo world! My name's Ying (Nick) Liu, my journey into technology began in 1998, during middle school, with a science class assignment to create a single-page website. Pokémon was all the rage, so I built a GeoCities site about Ash Ketchum and Pikachu's adventures. What started as a class project blossomed into a three-year endeavor, peaking at a million page views per month. Through this experience, I gained proficiency in WS_FTP, Adobe Photoshop 5.0, Macromedia Flash, HTML, JavaScript, and even a bit of Perl scripting.

However, my path diverged, and I pursued a degree in Accounting from the University of Florida (UF). After nearly two years as a Public Auditor, I returned to UF for my Masters in Information Systems and Operations Management. During my graduate studies, an internship at JP Morgan Technology reignited my passion for tech and entrepreneurship.

Now, I'm a passionate and dedicated self-starter eager to find projects where I can continue to learn and build something impactful.
